We are enthused to announce that an interview with Patrick McDonnell is this month’s cover story for Science of Mind, a magazine blending inspiration and spiritual wisdom for followers of all faith traditions.

The feature, written by Reverend Barry Ebert, chronicles Patrick’s journey as a comics enthusiast and animal lover — from enjoying Peanuts as a child to eventually using his own strip MUTTS to raise awareness about animal welfare issues. In the interview, Patrick also shares his thoughts on the intersection of comics and spirituality, and discusses the excitement of collaborating with luminaries like Dr. Jane Goodall, Eckhart Tolle, and Daniel Ladinsky on various projects throughout his career.

I start my day with MUTTS! It is my way of staying connected with my family. They all expect my morning note with MUTTS to know their 94 year old mom is up and at her computer. We are all animal lovers and cherish every little one we have had. Our present little friends are Tuxedo, the little black busy kitty and Sable a handsome “rag doll”. Both are males and great buddies! Thanks for all you do for all our little four paw friends! Dottie
